Absolutely! Your insight on being cautious of "good enough" really resonated with me. When I went into my startup a few years ago, I definitely made that mistake of underestimating janky looking (un-techy) products.
Overlooking the difficulty of breaking behavioral inertia, and the other moats they had. I was indeed an overeager, ignorant, founder that thought modernization was a much stronger hook than it turned out to be.
